To celebrate The Big Draw and the importance of drawing, we organised a free, family friendly event at the No 6 Studio.
Families arrived at scheduled times to decorate a flag, which was added to a
string of community bunting.
Keeping to the theme of the natural world, sticks, feathers and fingers were used to apply earth paints to individual earth coloured flags. Locally sourced charcoal was used to add detail and marks.
Adults and children were encouraged to explore their own creativity and to experiment with the unexpected drawing equipment.
We were delighted to see so many familiar faces dropping in and contributing to raising our awareness of climate change and the essential role we play in it.
