To celebrate the summer and upcoming holidays, we have been creating artwork inspired by the sea.
As always, the children had the option of following their own creative instincts to produce work important to them.
By providing assorted 3D and collage materials the children thoroughly enjoyed creating their own impressions of sandy beaches, sandcastles, pets and the wildlife seen at the beach.
Cheery bunting was created and underwater creatures cut out and decorated with woven paper. Drawn details were added with black marker pen.
