Producing an abstracted image of an animal is surprisingly difficult!
The children had to think of an animal and then practice drawing it. Using a black felt pen, they had to highlight the basic geometric shapes the animal was made up of. Using a range of simple printing equipment, a practice outline was created. Once the children were confident, they printed their final image onto black card.
