Covid-19 Information
(Updated February 2022)

'Clay, Paper, Scissors' have completed risk assessments in order to ensure that our classes are designed to keep us all as safe and well as possible.

Please read all of the following information so that you know the procedures that must be adhered to.

  • For our Family Events

  • Please do not attend the event if you, or any member of your household, are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or if they have been experienced during the last 7 days. This also applies if you, or any member of your household, have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been advised to isolate by the NHS Test and trace system.

  • Please book in advance where possible. There is a recommended number of visitors/households at a time in the studio. (If you made a booking but then are unable to come please let us know by email without delay.)

  • Please enter the studio by the right hand door (there will be a sign) and then exit via the double doors.

  • All members of the group must wash or sanitise their hands upon entry.

  • Face coverings within the studio are personal choice.

  • Please ensure that you maintain social distancing throughout your visit.

  • Please use a tissue to contain a cough or sneeze and place this in the bin before washing your hands.

  • Please do not eat or drink in the studio.

  • We aim for every visitor to have their own materials and any that need to be shared will be cleaned in between use. There is a 5 minute window in between each session for cleaning of surfaces and furniture in between groups too.

  • If you or any member of your group or household develop COVID-19 symptoms within 7 days of attending the event, please inform us by email (claypaperscissors@outlook.com) and use the NHS Test and Trace system to alert others.

Please do get in touch by email if you have any queries about these guidelines.

Our risk assessment will be ongoing and any changes or additions to our practise will be added to this page and dated accordingly.
  • For our regular Classes and Courses

  • Please do not allow your child to attend a class if they are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or if they have experienced them during the previous 7 days. This also applies if your child has tested positive for COVID-19 or has been advised to isolate by the NHS Test and Trace system.

  • Children will need to be dropped off at the main entrance (right hand door) and picked up from the double doors (left side), in order to comply with the separate entrance and exit doors now in place.

  • Face coverings within the studio are personal choice.

  • Please remember to give each other space at pick up and drop off.

  • There remains a recommended number of people allowed into the studio, in order to maintain appropriate distancing in our classes.

  • Children will be asked to wash or sanitise their hands on entering the studio and they will be reminded about frequent hand washing/sanitising, best hygiene practise for coughs and sneezes and distancing during the introduction. All hand sanitisers and hand washing supplies are provided.

  • Children may now bring a healthy snack and a drink to their class should they wish. Please make sure all personal belongings including water bottles, coats etc are named.

  • After the class, the studio will continue to be thoroughly cleaned so that there is minimal risk of transmission from one group to another.

  • If a child falls unwell during a class, we will follow the Government guidelines which require us to call their parent/carer immediately in order for them to be collected.

  • If your child develops COVID-19 symptoms, or tests positive for COVID-19, within 7 days of attending a class, please inform us by email (claypaperscissors@outlook.com) without delay and use the NHS Test and Trace system to alert others.
